The EMDESK team would like to annouce the recently launched EMDESK 1.6 - the most advanced proposal writing and project management platform for the European Union’s 7th Research Framework Programme.
As a result of the considerable amount of valuable user feedback, the EMDESK team has developed its platform to make proposal writing and project management even more efficient. With new and upgraded features, EMDESK introduces significant performance and usability enhancements.

Improved Part B Content Preparation The Part B preparation was modified to make collaboration between partners easier and traceable. Besides the usability improvements that allow a more convenient way of editing, EMDESK also offers an easy-to-manage revision history, finalise-function and a comment feature. | More Flexibility for Individual Requirements Additional features have been added making the project budget calculation and resource planning even more flexible. The funding settings have been extended allowing for variable specification of individual funding rate schemes, establishment of several personnel cost categories, use of individual flat rate methods and for more flexibility to calculate the desired EC Contribution. | |
Significant Performance Enhancements: The EMDESK server has been relocated to a more powerful server, its database has been optimised and the response-time is now 10 times shorter.
The EMDESK team is already working on the EMDESK 1.7 which will provide a project wiki, a project website generator as well as a group and mail distribution system.
