Today, EMDESK announces an enhanced Proposal Pro version of the Proposal Preparation Module, a re-launch of the leading proposal writing application for FP7.

In addition to several usability and security updates, the extended application offers, besides the known flexible financial calculation support and collaborative Part B content preparation function with version control, a number of new features that simplify and facilitate the collaboration between partners.

The collaboration functionalities in the Proposal Pro Module feature a document management system with version and access control, mailing lists management, project internal wiki system and forum as well a shared online calendar. The announced project website generator will follow in the next release.

Another major change includes the complete revised document generation. Now, EMDESK generates all exports to an Office Open XML format (.docx), e.g. the ready-for-submission proposal, for robust and convenient processing in major word application like MS Office 2007.

Until 31th December, 2010, the EMDESK Proposal Preparation Module Pro is offered free of charge. Afterwards, the Proposal Preparation Module will continue to be available free of charge for everyone, except the collaboration support. The collaboration functionalities will be then available as add-on for a yearly license fee.
