Collection of personal information: Data from users of the EMDESK Project Management Platform

The EMDESK Project Management Platform is only accessible through a registration process. If you request to use the service provided by the EMDESK Project Management Platform, the service requires certain information on your personal, company and project data to fulfil your request and to proceed the transaction. You may decide whether you would like give us further information.

The EMDESK Project Management Platform may gather and process information about you in the following categories for fulfilling the EMDESK service:

To help us to proceed the request to use the EMDESK Project Management Platform, we may share your company name, name, address, amount of payment and credit card information delivered by you during the purchase process of the EMDESK Negotiation Module and EMDESK Project Management Module with our professional online payment executer, the Heidelberger Payment GmbH, located in Heidelberg (Germany), that acts as an Internet Payment Service Provider on the European E-Commerce market. Your payment information are not analyzed or stored on our web server, but directly forwarded to the payment processor of the Heidelberger Payment GmbH. Due to significant high privacy and security issues, EMDESK collects and processes anonymous aggregate information on the use of the EMDESK Project Management Platform itself. When we collect personal information from you in a transaction, we may extract some information about that transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information to aggregate anonymous data. For each subscriber to the EMDESK Project Management Platform, our web server automatically recognizes NO information regarding the IP address, e-mail address or name. Anonymous aggregate information may be tracked about domain names, page visits and access, files downloaded, search engine used, operating system, and type of web browser of visitors to EMDESK web service. We do not save the visitor’s IP address.

If you participate in a discussion forum on the EMDESK web site, not in the EMDESK Project Management Platform, you should be aware that the information you provide there will be made broadly available to others, potentially inside or outside EMDESK, who have access to that discussion forum. Each participant's opinion on a forum or chat room is his or her own and should not be considered as reflecting the opinion of EMDESK.

Use of Cookies and Web bugs

We do NOT use Cookies or Web-bugs on our EMDESK web site and we do not place Cookies on hard drives of EMDESK web site visitors.

When we transfer and receive sensitive project and personal information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and encrypt transferred data. Importantly, NONE of our employees have access to data, and strict technical and legal security features govern this access. Only on EMDESK customers request in written form, executive-level employees are legally allowed to retrieve requested information of the customer’s personal and project data. This information retrieval is linked to a significant effort and may take some time.
